History
As of 2021, the tea pavilion ("Hermitage") in Gostilitsy was built in the middle of the 18th century, presumably designed by architect B. F. Rastrelli. Later, at the beginning of the 19th century, the building was rebuilt.
The pavilion is depicted in V. Sadovnikov's watercolor of 1857, which confirms its existence in the middle of the 19th century. Such pavilions have traditionally served as a place for outdoor recreation and tea drinking, being a part of the cultural life of the manor nobility.
Current status
The tea pavilion is in a ruined state. Only fragments of the building remain, which can be seen in the manor's park.
